About the Role
We are seeking a caring and dependable Teacher’s Assistant to support classroom instruction and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. This role works closely with teachers and students to provide support when needed in the learning environment. This is a very hands-on position.
What You’ll Do
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to reinforce classroom learning
- Assist with classroom organization and daily routines
- Support student engagement, participation, and positive behavior
- Help ensure student safety and well-being throughout the day
- Assist students with assignments, activities, and transitions
- Collaborate with teachers and clinical staff to support individualized student needs
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or support setting
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to follow instructional guidance and classroom protocols
