Therapy Solutions

Mission

At Kaleidoscope Therapy Solutions, our mission is to illuminate the unique strengths within every individual and transform them into meaningful progress. Through compassionate, evidence-based ABA therapy, we partner with families to build skills, confidence, and independence, one purposeful step at a time.

Vision

We envision a world where neurodiversity is understood, celebrated, and supported, where every child is seen not for their challenges, but for the vibrant potential they bring to the world.

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach to understanding how behavior works and how learning happens.

ABA focuses on:

  • Teaching new skills focused on communication, social, and safety
  • Strengthening positive behaviors
  • Reducing behaviors that interfere with learning
  • Promoting independence and confidence

ABA is built on the idea that behaviors serve a purpose. When we understand why a behavior is happening, we can teach safer, more effective ways for a child to communicate their needs.

At Kaleidoscope Therapy Solutions, ABA means:

  • Breaking skills into manageable steps
  • Using positive reinforcement to motivate learning
  • Collecting data to measure progress
  • Adjusting strategies based on individual response
  • Collaborating closely with parents

Our therapy is structured but playful. Goal-oriented but child-centered. Evidence-based but personalized.

We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — every child’s program is customized.

Our ABA Services

We offer two levels of care based on a child’s developmental needs: Focused ABA and Comprehensive ABA.

Focused ABA

Focused ABA is appropriate when treatment targets a limited number of specific behaviors or skill areas.

This may include:

  • Communication delays
  • Increasing compliance with routines
  • Reducing aggression or self-injurious behaviors
  • Improving emotional regulation
  • Building specific social skills

Focused programs typically involve fewer weekly therapy hours and are highly targeted. This option works well for children who need short-term intervention or support in specific areas.

Comprehensive ABA

Comprehensive ABA addresses multiple areas of development simultaneously and is often recommended for children who require broader support.

Areas may include:

  • Receptive and expressive communication
  • Social interaction and play skills
  • Daily living skills (dressing, hygiene, feeding)
  • School readiness
  • Attention and task completion
  • Reduction of challenging behaviors
  • Adaptive and functional independence skills

Comprehensive services are more intensive and designed to promote overall development. These programs are common for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder but may benefit others depending on need.

ABA as a Medically Necessary Service

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is recognized as a medically necessary, evidence-based treatment for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and certain developmental conditions.

“Medically necessary” means that services are required to improve daily functioning, increase communication and independence, reduce behaviors that impact safety or learning, and support overall development.

ABA is not tutoring or childcare, it is a clinical healthcare service.

Treatment is:

  • Based on a comprehensive assessment conducted by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Individualized to each child’s needs
  • Supported by measurable goals and ongoing data collection
  • Reviewed and authorized by insurance providers

Requirements

Insurance companies require documentation demonstrating medical necessity, and our team develops detailed treatment plans to ensure services meet clinical and coverage requirements.

At Kaleidoscope Therapy Solutions, our focus is delivering meaningful, medically appropriate care that supports long-term success.
