Ages We Serve
We support children and adolescents from 2 years old through early adulthood (age 21)
Early intervention is especially impactful, but we believe growth is always possible, regardless of age.
Assessment, Authorization & Treatment Process
We aim to make starting services clear and manageable.
Step 1: Intake & Consultation
We gather background information, review concerns, and verify insurance benefits.
Step 2: Comprehensive Assessment
A BCBA conducts a detailed evaluation including:
- Parent interview
- Direct observation
- Developmental skill assessments
- Functional behavior assessment (if needed)
The purpose is to identify strengths, barriers to learning, and meaningful goals.
Step 3: Treatment Plan & Insurance Authorization
A personalized treatment plan is developed and submitted to insurance for approval. This includes recommended hours and specific goals.
Step 4: Therapy Implementation
Once approved:
- An RBT is assigned
- Sessions begin
- Data is collected daily
- The BCBA supervises and adjusts programming regularly
Step 5: Ongoing Review
Treatment plans are updated every authorization period (typically around every 6 months) to reflect progress and evolving goals. We maintain open communication throughout the entire treatment process.
Social Skills Program (Ages 5 to 17)
Our Social Skills Program is designed to help children develop meaningful peer relationships.
Through structured group sessions, children learn:
- How to initiate conversations
- Understanding personal space
- Cooperative play
- Perspective-taking
- Emotional regulation
- Conflict resolution
- Problem-solving skills
Groups are carefully matched by age and ability level. Sessions include modeling, role play, games, and guided interaction.
The goal is to help children feel confident, included, and socially successful.
